James. Part 8. James 2:14-26. Pt. 3
Today, we’ll focus on the perfection of justification. To be “justified”, while it surely has on-going effects, is also something finished in the believer. The believer, because of justification, has “peace with God.” The believer is not perfect in the fullest sense of glorification, but he is perfected in justification or the Gospel is meaningless. The Christian alone has peace with God. This means that what inhibits peace, sin, has been dealt with definitively. Today we’re going to look at how Christ does this in his church.
Romans 4:23-5:2; 4:7-8; Colossians 2:13-14; Ephesians 2:8-10; Titus 3:5-8; Hebrews 10:1-14. Upon the foundation of all the Apostles (all of them) we are talking about the foundations of our Faith.
God bless!!!
