Acts 16:6-40. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and You Will Be Saved

I had the great privilege of preaching in Tarpon Springs this weekend. We’re going through the Book of Acts together as a group of churches. Next week I’ll get to open the first part of chapter 17 with them as well. This chapter, like so much of Acts, should remind every believer that the same triune God over the lives of Paul, Timothy, Luke and Silas is also over us. He opens, he shuts. He, God the Holy Spirit, is fully in charge of his church. We can rest in the confidence of his guiding hand over all we plan to do as well. Serve God, seek to be faithful where he has you in your life, let him worry about the details. This Gospel is about the message these men sought to bring the world.
