James Study. Part 13. James 2:14-26. Pt. 8

Pastor James is speaking to his people about a need he sees in the midst of his congregation. As we continue to dive in to vv. 14-26 today, we’ll take some time to consider some of the 35 different passages that use the word justify today to show the semantic range of the term. We’ll do this to show how clear it is that James speaks in perfect union with the rest of Scripture, that salvation is of course by grace through faith alone, but is made evident by, and perfected through, the works that we do. We’ll have perhaps one more full week in these verses and we will continue through the rest of the book of James together, Lord-willing.
