The Star of Christmas. How God Draws

Merry 2030th Christmas! (I’ll explain where I got that number in the message.) At an annual gathering at our church on Christmas Day, I again had the privilege of addressing the group with a Christmas message. What a sweet time of songs, prayers and fellowship it again was. You can see some of the remains of the magnificent feast we had behind me as well. Today, I want to talk about Jesus as the Bright Morning Star (2 Peter; Revelation 22, etc.) of our Faith. One thing we can learn from the wise men is that if God sets us on a path we can know that it leads us to where he wants us. In the ultimate sense, we can learn that if God saves us he always brings us to himself. It’s intriguing how God drew in the wise men in the Nativity story of the Bible. The details of this story, when one puts together all the points, is nothing short How God draws all of us is not laid out in such details but it’s made as clear for us in Scripture that he does draw all those who come to worship King Jesus. I hope this talk is a blessing to you this Christmas season.
